Our Trophy System
We offer the Fred Astaire Trophy System as an easy way for you to track your progress while you enjoy dancing! Our Social and Advanced Foundation Programs teach beginner students the step patterns and techniques to move comfortably on the dance floor with any partner. From there, a student can progress through our Bronze and Silver levels – all the way to the Gold!
Our dance curriculum covers the full range of American, Latin-American, International Style, and Exhibition/Theatre Arts dances. World famous dance champions and registered judges on the Fred Astaire National Dance Board constantly study and review our curriculum to make sure that only the finest, up-to-date programs are being offered to our students.
SOCIAL BRONZE – Social Bronze dancers can perform popular ballroom dances with fun and confidence with any partner.
ADVANCED BRONZE – Advanced Bronze dancers develop flair while dancing more intricate patterns.
SILVER – Silver dancers have a greater sense of confidence, more self expression, and an enhanced sense of movement as they dance the popular social dances.
GOLD – Gold dancers have fulfilled the highest level of dance expression using emotion, style, and poise.
QUALIFICATION PROGRAM – For students with a minimum amount of time/interest, requiring no solo technical knowledge.
STANDARD PROGRAM – For students who want to become good dancers and acquire a partial solo technical knowledge of most of the popular dances.
HONORS PROGRAM – For students who want to have a thorough knowledge of all the popular dances.
DOUBLE HONORS AND PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM – For students who have already completed the Honors Program and want to be trained to teach and develop their own dancing tot he highest degree possible. The counterpart of all dances in each standard must be studied.
